Another site from Internets early days bites the dust today. GeoCities started in 1994 and acquired by Yahoo! in 1999 and ten years later it's now gone as of today.
In it's heyday: GeoCities - October 22, 1996
GeoCities - January 25, 1999
Alas, my mediocre site will not disappear, rater it will live on (for now) on FreeWebs.com
